SUMMER SPREE 2008

Join Q-Lite 99.5 and Crossett merchants for SUMMER SPREE 2008. Thousands of dollars worth of prizes will be given away at the end of the summer. All you have to do is shop at participating merchants and sign up. You could win the Grand Prize of $1,000 in Crossett Scrip Money, $500 worth of groceries from Brookshire's, $500 worth of gasoline from Sewell Oil Company, and much, much more.

AEA School Bell Award

Dennis Maxwell receives the AEA (Arkansas Education Association) School Bell Award from Crossett AEA representatives Lucille Smith and Katherine Dupree. This is Q-Lite's 3rd School Bell Award. The "School Bell Award" is presented for outstanding coverage of education. The nomination was made by Theresia Daniels of the Crossett Education Association.

2008 Crossett Citizen of the Year

The "2008 Crossett Citizen Of The Year" award was presented to Qlite 99.5's Dennis Maxwell by the Colonel Francis Vivian Brookings Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The award was presented at the Hamburg Chamber Banquet.  Imie Carpenter (right) and Tena Carter (left) presented the award.

Ambassador of the Year
